Our ingredients

Here is a list of a few of our main ingredients in our soaps so you can see the wonders they do to your skin!

Olive oil

Olive oil is generally the #1 oil in most soap makers’ recipes – and for good reason. Olive oil soaps are very moisturizing and are exceptionally mild.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil works synergistically with palm and olive oils to give a nice, rich, creamy lather that’s very moisturizing.

Coconut Oil

This oil is light, non-greasy, it has great moisturising & conditioning properties & is good for protecting the skin.  It absorbs easily into your skin without clogging pores & leaves it feeling soft & smooth.  It is coconut oil that gives your bars of soap that gorgeous creamy lather!

Shea Butter

This butter is highly moisturising.  It is said to be beneficial for treating dry skin, blemishes, scars and wrinkles &  irritated skin.  It is packed with Vitamin A & E.  This butter will leave your skin feeling smooth, supple & soft!

Mango Butter

This butter is a great moisturiser that will keep your skin hydrated!  It also has plenty of healing and regenerative properties.   Mango butter is said to prevent drying of skin & restore elasticity.

Castor oil

Castor oil is a thick, clear oil that helps increase the lather in soap – a rich, creamy lather. It’s also a humectant (attracts moisture to your skin) oil. Castor oil has a fatty acid makeup that’s completely unique – which makes what it contributes to your soap (the rich, creamy lather) unique.

Rosehip oil

Hemp seed oil is a deep, green color with a light, nutty smell. No, it doesn’t smell like marijuana, nor does it have any of the affects that marijuana has, but it does indeed come from the seed of the cannabis plant. It gives a light, creamy/silky lather

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, meaning it can penetrate deep-down into the skin and hydrate from within. Cocoa butter can also be helpful for many skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and skin irritation.

Hazelnut oil

This oil is suitable for all and nourishes all types of skin. It is particularly good for sensitive skin. This oil is best suited for those with oily skin as the moisturizing property of hazelnut keeps the skin free from excessive secretions.  Also, the astringent properties in the oil tightens the pores and so limits the oil secretions, thus helping to maintain clean and clear skin.
